Techno pup was built in July 1999 in Silicon Valley California USA. He is the second generation of the P.U.P. droids which where designed to help the human race with day to day technological tasks. He is fitted with the upgraded CZ2745b control unit revision b. This model has exceeded the original specification and is now self sustaining and can live alone without human intervention.
Techno pup also has a sister who was built at the same development plant. Her name is "Phoebe" she has the same chipset but is only half the size of her brother "Techno Pup" and was original built as a toy for the development offices children in California, But due to cut backs at the time the whole development project was axed and the development stopped but neither Techno pup or Phoebe where shut down and so live on.
One of the engineers dismantling the plant a British robotics student "Vicky" found techno pup and phoebe in a small cupboard in one of the labs. When she realised that they where still powered up, carried out some tests on them which amazed her with there abilities. At this stage she enquired if she could keep them to help with her studies.
Two months later Techno Pup and Phoebe arrived in the UK. When Vicky returned home, (although they had to travel as excess baggage) they arrived safe and sound complete with a big box of spare parts and interfaces for a multitude of applications.
After a period of travelling around the UK filling there memory banks with knowledge of every aspect of the UK, Techno pup settled down to help people who are searching the internet for all sorts of things. However we must warn you that some days phoebe helps him and we can't guarantee the accuracy of her work as she just loves all things PINK.
